(Ref. fi g. 4) Cutting the contact wires using a CEMBRE
hydraulic cutting tool equipped with the appropriate
dies, will ensure a perpendicular cut without deforma-
tion of the profi le.
(Ref. fi g. 5) Cut both contact wires where they cross the
reference line engraved on the Ω shaped support frame
of the device.

(Ref. fi g. 6) Use the HC-GW adjusting device to correctly
align the grooves of the new contact wire in the guide
wheels (Ref. fi g. 2) on the Tirfor side of the device, then
tighten the knob on this side.

(Ref. fi g. 8) Use the Tirfor to bring the ends of the contact
wires together.

(Ref. fi g. 10) Release Tirfor traction, unscrew knobs to
release the device from the joint area, then detach
hooks to completely remove the device.

(Ref. fi g. 7) If necessary, use the HC-GW adjusting device
to correct any bend in the contact wires.

(Ref. fi g. 9) Install the connecting joint appropriate to
the section of the contact wires, carefully following the
assembly instructions provided.
