SYMPTOM
Unusual wear on side/back of
blade.
Teeth ripping from blade.
Motor running too hot.
Mechanical Issue
SYMPTOM
Excessive vibration during
operation.
Electrical Issue
SYMPTOM
Horizontal bandsaw does not
turn on. (HMI Screen not
lighting up).
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Blade guides worn.
2. Blade guide bearings not adjusted properly.
3. Blade guide bearing bracket is loose.
1. Tooth too coarse for work.
2. Insufficient feed pressure or speed too slow.
3. Vibrating workpiece.
4. Gullets loading.
1. Feed rate is too high.
2. Poor airflow on motor and/or controller.
PLACE TO CHECK
1. Workpiece mounting.
• Check if workpiece is securely mounted.
2. Check the quality of the blade.
3. Incorrect speed.
PLACE TO CHECK
First, unplug the bandsaw from its power source
and check the following:
1. Fuse.
2. Damage to the power cable.
3. Check all the connections are secure on the
main board.
4. Remove the plastic interface unit and check
the ribbon cable connection.
Note:
Make sure to securely fasten every component
back together before connecting the horizontal
bandsaw back into power again.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Replace blade guides.
2. Adjust guide bearings per operator's manual.
3.Tighten guide bearing bracket.
1. Use finer tooth blade.
2. Increase feed pressure and/or speed.
3. Clamp work Securely.
4. Use coarse tooth blade or brush to remove chips.
1. For feed rate problem lower the feed rate by
adjusting the hydraulic cylinder.
2. For airflow problem, make sure the fan in the motor
is turning and nothing is blocking the airflow. On
the controller make sure that the vents are not
blocked.
HOW TO RESOLVE
1. Make sure the workpiece is clamped properly.
2. Make sure the blade is not dull.
3. Refer to the speed chart. If the problem is not
resolved contact our customer service for further
assistance.
HOW TO RESOLVE
Remove the cover from the HMI and make sure all
connectors are plugged in. Remove the lower side
panel where the power button is and make sure that
all wires are connected.
If all connections are connected securely, and there is
no light on the HMI screen, the main control board
may be bad.
