TRANSPORTATION
This bandsaw weighs 295 lbs. It is recommended that this bandsaw be transported with
the help of a lifting jack or jigger. Refer to Fig.3.
ALWAYS KEEP PROPER FOOTING & BALANCE WHILE MOVING THIS BANDSAW.
Only use a heavy duty fiber belt to lift machine. Bandsaw can be moved on floor
using the included wheels.
SET-UP & ASSEMBLY
Before this bandsaw can be put into operation, the head lock bracket (A) Fig.4 must be
removed in order to allow the head of the bandsaw to be lifted. Remove Phillips hex. bolt
(B), then hex. nut (C), and finally remove head lock bracket (A). The bandsaw head can
now be lifted.
This bandsaw comes practically assembled, if needed, the work stop assembly can be
installed to the bandsaw bed as shown in Fig.5. The work stop shaft (A) gets secured to
bandsaw bed by tightening the hex. bolt (B), and the work stop (C) gets secured to the
work stop shaft by tightening the thumb screw (D).
Position the filter/screen (A) Fig.6 in the recessed circle on top of the bandsaw base as
shown.
If you wish to install the vertical table for vertical cutting operations, follow installation
instructions in the Operation section of this manual.
