Using the DG-Stomp
Set the Speaker Simulator
The speaker simulator is a special circuit that adds
the live characteristics of a speaker to the tone out-
put of the DG-Stomp. It is best used when you are
listening through a pair of headphones or when con-
nected directly via a line to a mixer or recorder.
Press the [SP. SIM] button to turn the Speaker Simu-
lator ON (the lamp will light). Press the button again
to turn the Speaker Simulator OFF (light is off).
Also, the DG-Stomp is equipped with 16 types of
speaker simulations. Try to find a simulation you like.
1. Simultaneously press the [SP. SIM] button and
the [UTILITY] button.

2. Use the [UP]/[DOWN] buttons to select the simu-
lator type.
3. Press the [UTILITY] button to return to the PLAY
mode.
* The speaker simulator's setting is stored along with the patch
data. It is also possible to use Utility settings to turn the
speaker simulator ON or OFF independent of the patch data
settings (see page 27)
* If the MASTER volume or tone controls are set relatively high,
the sound may clip when the Speaker Simulator circuit is ac-
tivated. If so, slightly lower the MASTER volume level.
