ASSEMBLY
■ Release the safety guard flap.
■ Make sure both rods are firmly seated on the sockets and the safety guard flap rests firmly against the top
of the grass collection bag.

Removing the collection bag:
■ Lift the safety guard flap and hold it in position.
■ Lift the grass collection bag by its handle and remove it from the scarifier/dethatcher.
■ Release the safety guard flap.
NOTE: To reduce the risk of injury, frequently inspect the bag assembly and replace if there are any
signs of wear or deterioration.
