     Only connect the unit to a power supply network with proper grounding.  Use the compatible Erbe power cord (see the Accessories, Com- patible power cords chapter).  Check the power cord for damage. You must not use a damaged power cord.

    Read the nationally-applicable safety data sheets. The information varies from country to country. The ERBECRYO 2 User Manual can therefore only pro- vide some basic information on the safe handling of carbon dioxide and the gas bottle.

    3 • Safe handling of carbon dioxide and the gas bottle Do not use bottles with dip tubes Bottles with dip tubes are explicitly labeled as such. They are fitted with an internal dip tube that extends from the bottle valve to just above the base of the bottle. They pro- vide liquid CO .
