    9.10 OTHER EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE ACTIONS After max. 5,000 cycles/year, the machine life cycle is to be considered at an end, and therefore MESSENGER must undergo overhauling and extraordinary maintenance. For this reason, after the mentioned period of time, it is mandatory to overhaul the machine completely in order to make sure of its safety.
