Transposition, Tuning,
& Octave Change
The most important and fundamental adjustment for any musical
instrument is tuning. The TRANSPOSE, TUNING, and OCTAVE
CHANGE functions described below let you control the pitch of the
PSR-4000 in a number of ways.
These functions allow the overall pitch of the PSR-4000 to be transposed up or down in semitone steps, and fine-
tuned in 0.2 Hertz steps.

Press the TRANSPOSE/TUNE LCD Button
Select the transpose and tune functions from the
normal play mode display by pressing the
LCD button.

Set the Transposition and/or Tuning As Required
Use the
