7 CARE AND MAINTENANCE

7.4 CLEANING

To clean the TAiMA VENTUM and its compo-
nents, use lukewarm water mixed with a mild
cleaning agent (without solvents and with a pH
value of 5-9).
After cleaning, wipe with clear water and then
dry the rollator with a cloth. The wheels can be
cleaned using a damp brush with soft plastic
bristles (do not use a wire brush!).
The seat cover, back strap, standard and premi-
um bag can be hand-washed in mild soapy wa-
ter of up to 30°C. Remove contamination and
fluff from the wheel hubs.

7.5 DISINFECTION

Wipe down or spray all parts thoroughly with a
commercially available surface disinfectant. Take
particular care to disinfect surfaces that come
into frequent contact with hands/skin, such as
the seat surface, handles and brakes.
Please only use the following disinfectants; use
of other chemicals might damage the rollator:
P Aldehyde-free disinfectants based on
alcohol (max. 70% propylalcohol)

7.6 DISPOSAL

The product is made of aluminium and plastic
materials that can be recycled just like the pack-
aging material (cardboard). If you no longer
need the product, please contact a medical
supply specialist. They will pick up the rollator
and either dispose of it properly or make further
use of it. Otherwise, please take the rollator to

Material damage: Do not use high-pressure
cleaners, strong or corrosive chemicals or scour-
ing agents for cleaning purposes.
Risk of corrosion: To avoid corrosion, ensure
that all materials dry completely after cleaning.
