4 USING THE PRODUCT
1. Position yourself between the push handles
and reach under the grey pull strap (1, Fig.
8) to release the folding lock. The pull strap
is the lower one lying flat against the seat.
2. Pull the pull strap with the seat surface up-
wards (2, Fig. 8).
3. As a result, the folding lock (3, Fig. 8) is re-
leased and the rollator can be folded.
4. To use the folding lock, press the two seat
tubes together to the extent necessary (1,
Fig. 9). Then pull the ribbed lever of the fold-
ing lock hook upwards so that it can be re-
leased from its support. Engage the folding
lock hook on the counterpiece on the other
side of the rollator (2, Fig. 9) by latching the
hook on the pin provided for it (3, Fig. 9).
5. When unfolding the TAiMA VENTUM, re-
lease the folding lock hook from the coun-
terpiece (4, Fig. 9) by actuating the ribbed
lever.
6. The next step involves pushing both seat
tubes down with your hands until the fold-
ing lock engages. This will result in a clear
"clicking sound" (see also section "Setting
up / unfolding the rollator").
7. Return the folding lock hook to its original
position by pressing it onto the seat tube
until you can hear it click into place. This
prevents the hook from loosening on its
own when the rollator is in use.

WARNING
Risk of trapping! Take care not to trap your
hands, fingers or clothing when operating the
folding lock and when unfolding/folding the rol-
lator!
