6.4.4 Checking for proper pump and bypass
valve operation
After installing the pump and the bypass valve,
connect the pump to the power supply and check
the installation as follows:
1. Close the angle stop valve for the cold water
below the sink.
2. Open the cold-water faucet.
3. Check that when you turn on the cold-water
faucet, the flow of cold water gradually
decreases and stops as the bypass valve
closes.
4. Check that when you turn on the hot-water
faucet, hot water will flow within seconds.

improper operation of the GFCI.

The pump is electronically protected
and therefore requires no external motor
protection.
Check that the supply voltage and frequency
correspond to the values stated on the
nameplate.
Connect the pump to the power supply with
the power connector supplied with the pump.
