Cause
A read operation could not be
accomplished.
A bad spot could not be written, or
an error occurred after receiving the
data set while updating the label.
This error occurs when the 3741 and
the system are both initialized to the
same mode, reading or writing,
or
A system drive problem occurred such
as a card jam on the system
reader/punch.
What You Do
Hold both ALPHA SHIFT and NUM SHIFT
while pressing RESET to take the 3741
offline.
or
Hold NUM SHIFTwhile pressing RESET to
continue the operation with the next valid
label (except for modes 1 and 2).
Same procedure as 11.
Press RESET and continue processing,
or
Hold both ALPHA SHIFT and NUM SHIFT
while pressing RESET to terminate the opera-
tion, return to the index track, and take the
3741 offline.
