Possible cause and solution
Please observe the instructions in "Application technol-
ogy, Preparing the wash items".
The program was not suitable for the requirements.
Select a more suitable program (see "Program over-
view").
Not enough cleaning agent was dispensed.
Use more cleaning agent.
The cleaning agent used is not suitable for the type of soil-
ing present.
Switch to another cleaning agent.
Items are blocking the path of the spray arms.
Carry out a rotation check and if needed rearrange the
items so that the spray arms can rotate freely.
The filter combination in the wash cabinet is not clean or
was incorrectly installed.
This may have caused the spray-arm jets to become
blocked.
Clean and/or install the filter combination correctly.
Clean the spray arm jets, if necessary (see "Cleaning and
care").
The non-return valve is open and blocked. Dirty water has
flowed back into the wash cabinet.
Clean the drain pump and the non-return valve (see "Fre-
quently asked questions").
If necessary, alter the temperature and/or the holding time
of the program being used.
Change the relevant parameters for the program. (see
"Additional settings, Additional functions")
The rinse aid dosage is set too high.
Reduce the dosage (see "Additional settings, Additional
functions, Dispensing systems").
The rinse aid dosage is set too low or the rinse aid reser-
voir is empty.
Replenish the rinse aid, increase the dosage or change
the brand of rinse aid used (see "Adding rinse aid").
Not a fault.
The drying time was not sufficient for the dishware.
Extend the active drying time (see " Settings, Dry+").
