6 New Features of 12.1

The following is a list of new features since 12.0 of the FreeFlow Accxes Controller.

6.1 Secure Mailbox support for 6204

This feature allows the user to assign a unique password to each scan-to-net mailbox on a 6204.
The password can be set for scanning into the mailbox only, or retrieving only, or for any access.
This functionality is supported only using the 6204 scanner, it is NOT supported on the Wide
format scanner.
Retrieval of the scanned files can be accomplished by using one of the following URL's in the
more common web browsers:
1. "ftp://ip_address/mailbox_name"
2. "ftp://mailbox_name:password@ip_address/mailbox_name"
If format number 1 is used and a password is required for access to the mailbox the browser will
prompt for the "user" and password. The "user" name is the mailbox name. If you are accessing
your system via a proxy server you MUST use the second format.

6.2 TrueType Font Management for DWF files

Accxes now allows users to download and manage TrueType fonts to assist with DWF printing.
This feature is only available if the DWF license is present.
TrueType fonts may be sent to Accxes as print jobs, or uploaded via a new web page. TrueType
font management is also done through the web page; the page allows users to list, upload, and
delete TrueType fonts.
Please note that at the time of shipping an internal font mapping table is used to map commonly
found TrueType fonts to existing factory-installed fonts. This provides base DWF font
functionality without having to load TrueType fonts manually. Once the user adds a TrueType
font, the internal font mapping is NOT used. If the user wants to upload TrueType fonts we
recommend loading all expected TrueType fonts, not just one or two special fonts.
A maximum of 300 TrueType fonts may be stored on the Accxes server.
When uploading a large number of TrueType fonts, we recommend using Accxes Client Tools or
LPR (on Linux/Unix systems). These methods support the uploading multiple fonts at one time.
The Web interface uploads one font at a time.

6.3 TIFF LZW support

Support for LZW compression has been added to the existing Accxes TIFF support. LZW TIFF
support is standard and does NOT require a feature key.
