Operating Principle and Use of the Appliance

2.4 Use of the telescopic pull-outs

The side racks in the cooking chamber have telescopic
pull-outs on one 2 slide-in levels.
These make it easier to slide the cooking grate, baking tray and
other accessories in and out of the cooking chamber,
as well as providing additional protection against tipping
when pulling them out (for disassembly/assembly and cleaning,
see the relevant sections).
Use them as follows:
• Pull the telescopic pull-outs of one level (on both sides)
out of the cooking chamber towards the front.
• Place the desired accessories (e.g. baking tray, rack)
with the corresponding recesses on the holding pins
of the telescopic pull-out.
• Push them into the cooking chamber as far as they will go,
if possible by pushing on both sides.
• Do not close the oven door before the telescopic pull-outs
and all accessories are fully inserted.

2.5 Opening and closing the oven door

To open the appliance, always grasp the door handle in the
middle before pulling it forward and slightly downwards.
 Caution! Risk of burns!
To avoid burns from steam escaping from the cooking
chamber, keep your distance from the edges of the
door when opening the heated appliance
and do not grip the door handle too far to the side!
Note, that depending on the temperature, escaping
steam may not be visible.
