Bold Print
You can instruct the KX-R340 to "highlight" certain
words or characters for emphasis by using the bold
print function.
y | Depress the CODE+B keys.
The Display will show:
BOLD fico
xX
@The mode status indicator of "Bold" is displayed.
-Underlining
2 Type.
2 As you type the characters, they will be printed
in bold face.
3 Depress the CODE+B keys again to deactivate
the command.
@When the Typing Mode Selector is on the "JUST"
or "L/L" position, the symbol " Qy" is displayed in
front of and the symbol " 4] " is displayed behind
the characters to be bold.

words or characters for emphasis using the underlin-
ing function.
I Depress the CODE+U keys.
The Display will show:
UNDERLINE "60

eThe mode status indicator of '"Underlining'' is
displayed.
2° Enter the information. All characters and spaces
will be underlined. :
3 Depress the CODE+U keys again to deactivate
the command.
@When the Typing Mode Selector is set to "JUST"
or "LIL", the symbol ""®"' is displayed in front of
and the symbol "4" is displayed behind the
information to be underlined.

@When the Bold Print command is set together with

Display.
