To Scroll through Phrase Memory —
There are several ways of locating characters within a
Phrase to make additions, deletions or corrections.
Two of these ways are called '"'scrolling'"'.
Depressing the CODE+FWD keys allow you to
scroll forward through the first few characters of
each line.

© Depressing the CODE+BACKSPACE keys allows
you to scroll backward through the first few
characters of each line.
You can also use this function to scroll through
text memory.
Enter the word.
RETURN

Depress the CODE+ 1-20 keys (memory num-
ber of a phrase to be searched) and then
RETURN key.
Your Display will show the first 12 characters of
the phrase.

2 Depress the CODE+RELOC keys to move to the
beginning of the phrase.

3 Depress the CODE+S keys.
The Display will show:
S-WD=
4 Enter the word(s) (maximum of 10 characters)
you are searching for.
(For example, type ''dog'')
S-WD= dog
5 Depress the RETURN key.
On the Display, the last character you entered in
the Search Command will be positioned to the
left of the indicator arrow "<@''.

elf the word is not found in the phrase, the
Display will show:
NOT FOUND !!
©To locate the second position of the entered word
within the phrase, depress the CODE+N
keys.
