Battery pack care
• Remove the battery pack from the
camcorder after using it,
and keep it in a cool
place. When the battery pack is installed to the
camcorder, a small amount of current flows to
the camcorder even if the POWER switch is set
to OFF. This shortens battery life.
• The battery pack is always discharging even
when it is not in use after charging. Therefore,
you should charge the battery pack right before
using the camcorder.
Be sure to observe the following
• Keep the battery pack away from fire.
• Keep the battery pack dry.
• Do not open nor try to disassemble the battery
pack.
• Do not expose the battery pack to any
mechanical shock.
The switch on the battery pack
This switch is provided so that you can identify a
charged battery pack. Set the switch to the
"green mark" position when charging is
completed. (When the battery pack is removed
from the AC power adaptor after charging, the
switch automatically moves to the "green mark"
position.
Cuidados del paquete de pilas
• Extraiga el paquete de pilas de la
videocamara tras usarlo
y guardelo en un
lugar fresco. Cuando el paquete se encuentra
instalado en la videocamara, esta recibe una
pequeha cantidad de corriente aunque el
interruptor POWER este ajustado en OFF. Esto
reduce la duracion de las pilas.
• El paquete de pilas siempre esta descargandose
aunque no se utilice despues de cargarlo. Por
tanto, es necesario cargarlo inmediatamente
antes de emplear la videocamara.
Asegurese de observar lo siguiente:
• Mantenga el paquete de pilas alejado del fuego.
• Mantenga seco el paquete de pilas.
• No abra ni intente desmontar el paquete de
pilas.
• No exponga el paquete de pilas a golpes
mecanicos.
Interruptor del paquete de pilas
Este interruptor se proporciona para que sea
posible identificar si el paquete esta cargado.
Ajuste el interruptor en la posicion de la "marca
verde" una vez finalizada la carga. (A1 extraer el
paquete de pilas del adaptador de alimentacion
de CA despues de la carga, el interruptor se
desplaza automaticamente a la posicion de la
"marca verde").
The life of the battery pack
If the battery indicator flashes rapidly just after
turning on the camcorder with a fully charged
battery pack, the battery pack should be replaced
with a new fully charged one.
Charging temperature
You should charge batteries at temperatures from
50°F to 86°F (from 10°C to 30°C). Lower
temperatures require a longer charging time.
Duracion del paquete de pilas
Si el indicador de pilas parpadea rapidamente
inmediatamente despues de encender la
videocamara con un paquete de pilas
completamente cargado, sera necesario sustituir
dicho paquete por otro nuevo completamente
cargado.
