When to replace the battery
pack
While you are using your camcorder, the
remaining battery indicator on the LCD screen
decreases gradually as battery power is used up.
The remaining time in minutes also appears.

pilas
Mientras utiliza la videocamara, el indicador de
capacidad restante de las pilas de la pantalla
LCD disminuye gradualmente en tanto se agota
la energia de las pilas.
Tambien aparece el tiempo restante en minutos.

When the remaining battery indicator reaches the-
lowest point, the <X> indicator appears and starts
flashing on the LCD screen.
When the <X> indicator changes from slow
flashing to rapid flashing while you are
recording, set the POWER switch to OFF on the
camcorder and replace the battery pack. Leave
the tape in the camcorder to obtain a smooth
transition between scenes after the battery pack
has been replaced.
Notes on the rechargeable
battery pack
Caution
Never leave the battery pack in temperatures
above 140°F (60°C), such as in a car parked in the
sun or under direct sunlight.
The battery pack heats up
During charging or recording, the battery pack
heats up. This is caused by energy that has been
generated and a chemical change that has
occurred inside the battery pack. This' is not
cause for concern, and is normal.
Cuando el indicador de capacidad restante de las
pilas alcanza e! punto mas bajo, el indicador <Xi
aparece y comienza a parpadear en la pantalla
LCD.
Si el parpadeo del indicador <Xi cambia de lento a
rapido durante la grabacion, ajuste el interruptor
POWER de la videocamara en OFF y sustituya el
paquete de pilas. Deje la cinta en la videocamara
para obtener una transition uniforme entre las
escenas una vez sustituido el paquete de pilas.

Precaucion
No exponga nunca el paquete de pilas a
temperaturas superiores a 140°F (60°C), como en
un automovil aparcado al sol o bajo la luz solar
directa.
Calentamiento del paquete de pilas
Durante la carga o la grabacion, el paquete de
pilas se calienta. Esto se debe a la energia que se
genera y al cambio qufmico que se produce en el
interior de dicho paquete. Esto no es motivo de
preocupacion, ya que es normal.
