    Operating instructions NLSW®45-3 Ex SIL2 General areas of application: Fan monitoring, extraction systems, supply air systems, mechanical and plant engineering. 3.2 Functionality Flow monitors of the NLSW45-3 Ex SIL2 series operate according to the calorimetric principle. The relay of a device switches when the flow velocity reaches a preselected threshold value. The calorimetric measuring principle is based on a heated, temperature-sensitive resistor.
