Verify proper operation of all
limit switches.
Check the tension in the drive
cable and adjust if required.
Check that the drive sprocket
teeth and the nylon rollers on
which the lift runs are not worn
or damaged. There must be no
scoring or flattening of the
rollers.
Verify proper operation of the
safety brake (overspeed
governor).
Check that all fixing screws on
the rails and carriage are
present and securely fastened.
Check all moving parts, covers,
signs, and labels.
