Read instructions carefully before use. Save these instructions for future reference. It is very important to assemble the stroller according to these instructions. DO NOT USE YOUR STROLLER UNTIL YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER

ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER - Step 1


Care must be taken when folding or unfolding stroller to prevent finger injury to you or your child in hinge areas.
To protect flooring, place a protective covering (cardboard, towel, small rug or blanket) beneath the stroller during assembly.

Unlatch side frame lock . A . , and lift up on the parent's handle . B . .

To lock the stroller in the open position, palms must be put under the parent's handle to give an upward force away from your body. Pull upward until the stroller opens fully with an audible click.

Make sure the stroller locks in the open position by pushing down on the parent's handle.
ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER - Step 2

Turn the stroller upside down, as shown, so the rear of the stroller is facing upwards.
To attach rear wheels, push wheel onto rear leg tube until it clicks into place. Repeat on other side.

Pull on wheels to make sure both of them are securely attached.

DO NOT inflate tires above the maximum recommended inflation pressure listed on the side of the tire. Over inflation may cause wheel and/or tire to blowout and could result in serious injury. Use manual bicycle pump to inflate tires.

To remove, push metal button . C . .and pull wheel off stroller.

ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER - Step 4


FALL HAZARD
Wheel can detach and cause tip over. Pull on the wheel to assure it is securely attached. Periodically check wheel to assure it is securely attached.

Turn the stroller so the front of the stroller is facing upwards, as shown.

Slide a front wheel assembly . D . .into the front frame leg . E . .until it locks into place with an audible click. Pull downward on the front wheel assembly to make sure it is locked securely.
Turn the stroller right side up onto its wheels.


FALL HAZARD from tip over. Before running, jogging, or walking fast, LOCK the front wheel from swiveling.

DO NOT inflate tires above the maximum recommended inflation pressure listed on the side of the tire. Over inflation may cause wheel and/or tire to blowout and could result in serious injury. Use manual bicycle pump to inflate tires.

To lock, press up. To unlock, press down.

ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER - Step 5

To attach child tray, push tabs . F . .into openings . G . .on stroller. Make sure child tray locks into position with audible clicks. Pull on the child tray to make sure it is locked into place.

To remove the child tray, push both tabs . H . .under the fabric, and remove the tray from the stroller.

USING YOUR STROLLER

Always lock both brakes. Make sure brakes are on by trying to push the stroller.

Step on the rear brake levers . I. .to lock the rear wheels on the stroller.
To release the brakes, lift up on the brake levers.

To extend canopy, pull it forward as shown.


To close, push canopy toward parent's handle as shown.

USING YOUR STROLLER - Step 3


DO NOT place hot liquids in cup holder. Spills can burn you or your child.

Insert tray into slots . J . . Make sure parent tray is snapped securely on each side of the frame.

USING YOUR STROLLER - Step 4

To adjust handle, push in button . K . .on each side of handle and rotate up or down.

USING YOUR STROLLER - Step 5


To avoid serious injury from child falling out of stroller, DO NOT raise or recline seat with child in stroller.

To recline seat, squeeze adjuster . L . .and pull down the recline strap on the rear of seat.

To raise the seat, hold the D-ring . M . .on strap, then slide the adjuster toward the seat.

USING YOUR STROLLER - Step 6


Care must be taken when folding or unfolding stroller to prevent finger injury to you or your child in hinge areas.

To fold the stroller, lock the rear brakes, close the canopy, and remove your child.
Pull ring and hold, while pulling upward on the in-seat fold strap . N . .until the side frame lock clicks into place.
(Ring . 1 . .not included on all models).

After you pull the in-seat fold strap, you may need to push the stroller together in order for the side frame lock to fully lock in place . O . .

To unfold the stroller, see "ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER".

USING YOUR STROLLER - Step 7


Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. ALWAYS use waist restraint.

warningNote: Verify the stroller is locked in the open position by lifting up the rear of the stroller using the parent's handle.

Lock the rear brakes and remove the child tray.

5-point Harness

The harness shoulder straps . P . .must be at shoulder height or lower, closest to the baby's shoulders . Q . ..

Place the baby in the seat and bring the crotch panel . R . .up between the child's legs. Fasten each buckle . S . ..
For a snug, comfortable fit: pull the shoulder straps . P . .to tighten the shoulder restraint and pull the waist restraint straps . T . . to tighten the waist restraint.

warning Note: To loosen the waist straps . T . , push in the release button . U . .on the buckle and pull.

To loosen shoulder straps push up on the retainer . V . .while pulling down on the shoulder strap.

Once the child is properly restrained, re-attach the child tray. Make sure the child tray locks into position with audible clicks. Pull on the child tray to make sure it is locked into place.

3-point Harness

To change from 5-point to 3-point harness:
Unlock the Harness: Depress button . W . .as shown.
Remove harness shoulder strap . P . .from each buckle . S . , as shown.

Store shoulder harness straps for future use.

3-pt Harness

USING YOUR STROLLER WITH THE LITEMAX™ or SAFEMAX™ INFANT CAR SEAT

  • Only use Evenflo LiteMax™ and SafeMax™ infant car seats with this stroller. Other infant car seats or carriers are not designed to fit the stroller frame and may result in serious injury to your child if used with this stroller.
  • To assure safety for your baby, please refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the use of your infant car seat and keep all instructions available for reference.
  • DO NOT lift stroller by using the infant car seat handle when installed on stroller.
  • DO NOT use stroller for jogging while infant car seat is in stroller.
  • If unable to securely attach infant car seat to this stroller, remove the car seat and contact Evenflo ParentLink at 1-800-233-5921 (USA), 1-937-773-3971 (Canada), or 01-800-706-12-00 (Mexico).
  • To avoid serious injury to the child, when the infant car seat is in the stroller, make sure the infant car seat is securely snapped into the car seat mounts.
  • Some Evenflo LiteMax™ and SafeMax™ infant car seats have a blanket/boot option that must be removed for proper attachment to this stroller.
    1. Fully recline the stroller seat back.
    2. Make sure the child tray is securely latched.
    3. The infant car seat . A . . MUST be facing the parent when installed. Position infant car seat over the stroller. Touch rear vertical surface . B . . of infant car seat against rear vertical surface . C . . of child tray. Lower the infant car seat into the stroller and push down on handle. Infant car seat will click when fully locked into place.
    4. Pull up on the front and back of the infant car seat to ensure that it is properly locked into place.

USING WITH THE LITEMAX or SAFEMAX INFANT CAR SEAT

CHECKLIST FOR PROPER INSTALLATION

  • Make sure the infant car seat . A . .is in the rear-facing position (facing the parent).
  • Make sure the infant car seat is securely locked into the car seat mounts . D . .and resting on the child tray . C . .
    warning Note: Car seat mounts are behind fabric, and not visible.
  • Pull up on the front and back of the infant car seat to test that it is properly locked into place.

To remove the infant car seat, pull the release handle . E . .with one hand while lifting up on the carry handle . F . .with the other hand.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Clean minor spills and stains on cloth or plastic surfaces with cold water and mild soap. Air dry.
  • Metal and plastic parts can be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth and dried with a soft cloth. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • An occasional drop of vegetable oil may reduce wear and tear on moving parts.

  • NEVER leave child unattended. ALWAYS keep child in view while in the stroller.
  • Stroller is for use with children who can sit up unassisted, and is NOT recommended for newborns.
  • Adult assembly required. Take care when unpacking and assembling; contains small parts and some items with sharp edges.
  • To prevent a possible choking hazard, remove and discard packing material before using this product.
  • Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. ALWAYS use waist restraint.
  • DO NOT carry or roll stroller on stairs or escalators with child in it.
  • DO NOT hang items on handle bar or place them on the canopy as they can tip stroller over and injure child.
  • Be sure stroller is fully assembled and locked in unfolded position before using.
  • ALWAYS exercise care when going over curbs or steps, and never use stroller for anything other than transporting your child.
  • DO NOT place hot liquids in cup holders or parent's console. Spills can burn you or your child.
  • To avoid serious injury from child falling out of stroller, DO NOT raise or recline seat with child in stroller.
  • DO NOT use stroller if any parts are missing or broken.
  • DO NOT allow child to climb on, into, out of, or around stroller.
  • DO NOT allow child to stand on the footrest. Stroller may tip over and injure child.
  • DO NOT carry additional children, goods, or accessories in or on this stroller except as advised in these instructions. The stroller is intended for use with one child occupant and to accommodate only the additional weights in storage as listed in these instructions.
  • Care must be taken when folding or unfolding stroller to prevent finger injury to you or your child in hinge areas. Make sure child is not in the seat or near the stroller when folding or unfolding.
  • NEVER leave stroller on a hill or incline, even with brakes set. Stroller may tip, injuring the child.
  • To avoid accidental rolling, ALWAYS set brakes when stroller is not being pushed.
  • AVOID STRANGULATION:
    • DO NOT suspend strings or toys from the canopy.
    • DO NOT place stroller anywhere near cords from window blinds, draperies, phone, etc.
    • DO NOT place items with a string around your child's neck such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
  • When making adjustments to the stroller, ALWAYS ensure that all parts of the child's body are clear of any moving parts of the stroller.
  • The canopy is not intended to provide UV protection.
  • Sharp or heavy objects placed in pockets may cause damage to the stroller, or injury to the child.
  • If not properly secured, the child may slip into leg openings and strangle.
  • To ensure safety for your baby, please refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the use of your infant car seat and keep all instructions available for reference.
  • DO NOT lift stroller by using the infant car seat handle when installed on stroller.
  • If unable to securely attach the infant car seat to child's tray on this stroller, remove the car seat and contact Evenflo ParentLink at 1-800-233-5921 (USA), 1-937-773-3971 (Canada), or 01-800-706-12-00 (Mexico).
  • To avoid serious injury to the child, when the infant car seat is in the stroller, make sure the car seat is securely snapped onto the car seat mounts.
  • Some Evenflo LiteMax™ and SafeMax™ infant car seats have a blanket/boot option that must be removed for proper attachment to the stroller.
  • To avoid stroller instability and tip-overs, DO NOT load cup holders or adult handle storage area with over 2 lbs (0.9 kg) or the main cargo basket with over 10 lbs (4.5 kg).
  • Wheel can detach and cause tip over. Pull on the wheel to assure it is securely attached. Periodically check wheel to assure it is securely attached.
  • IF YOU ARE JOGGING WITH THIS STROLLER:
    • DO NOT inflate tires above the maximum recommended inflation pressure that is on the side of the tire. Over inflation may cause wheel and/or tire to blowout and could result in serious injury.
    • DO NOT use stroller for jogging when infant car seat is in stroller.
    • Be aware of the increased speed and greater possibility of losing control of the stroller.
    • ALWAYS attach the tether strap to your wrist while jogging with this stroller. The tether strap is intended to be used by an adult to maintain control of stroller while jogging. Do not allow children to play with tether strap. Do not hang items from the tether strap.
    • Be aware of traffic and other hazardous conditions that may be present.
    • FALL HAZARD from tip over. Before running, jogging, or walking fast, LOCK the front wheel from swiveling.
