2.3.1
Hazardous areas on the equipment
The areas around the system and the control unit are defined as the "operating area" for
the operating personnel.
When performing equipping, cleaning, maintenance and repair works the area around the
equipment or the individual equipment components is an area of risk and may only be
accessed by specialist personnel whilst observing the safety regulations.
WARNING!
– The hazard area extends to 1 m around the machine or installation during
equipping, maintenance and repair works.
– All for the swing area of installation doors as they open.
– The operating firm must ensure that no one can enter the hazard area
during movement processes.
DANGER!
Unauthorised access
The owner must ensure that unauthorised personnel are prevented from
accessing the operating area.

Supply circuit disconnect / master switch
A master switch is contained in the alternative "MyControl" unit approved by Ecolab.
In case the master switch cannot be mounted directly next to the device, a separate
master switch (accessory:
on page 77 ) must be installed.
When the master switch is actuated the equipment is connected to the power supply or is
disconnected from the power supply. The master switch is located in the control cabinet.
DANGER!
When the master switch is switched off due to cleaning, maintenance or repair
work being performed, it is to be secured to prevent it being switched on again.
