Problem
Some pans make
crackling or clicking
noises
The light is on but the
motor does not work.
Lights and engine do not
work.
Oil leaks.
Vibrations.
Potential cause
This can be caused by
the construction of your
cookware (layers of
different metals vibrate
differently).
The fan blades are
blocked.
The capacitor is
damaged.
The motor is damaged.
The internal wiring of
the motor is broken
or disconnected. An
unpleasant odour may
develop.
The light is broken.
The mains cable is loose.
The extractor hood vent
is not sealed.
If the fan blades are
damaged, they can
cause vibration.
The motor is not
properly fastened.
The cooker hood is not
firmly attached.
Solution
This is normal for
cookware and does not
indicate a fault.
Have the fan blades
checked.
Have the capacitor
replaced.
Have the motor
replaced.
Have the motor
replaced.
Have the light replaced.
Have an electrician
check the wiring.
Take off the outlet and
seal it with glue.
Have the fan blades
checked.
Fasten the motor.
Attach the extractor
hood.
