Important! Do not exceed the storage period indicated on the food.
Thawing deep-frozen goods
Frozen foods must be thawed gently to best preserve quality and reduce the growth of bacteria.
Depending on the type and purpose of use, the following methods can be used:
The refrigerator
Bacteria develop more slowly in the refrigerator than at room temperature. Therefore, it is the most
hygienic thawing method.
The kitchen table
If the food is wrapped in a freezer bag, you can advantageously put it in a bowl of cold water. Due to
the risk of the development of bacteria, food must not be left on the kitchen table for too long.
The microwave oven
If you don't have much time, you can use a microwave that has a defrosting program. If this method is
used, the food must be prepared immediately to avoid the development of dangerous bacteria.
Important! Frozen products that have been completely or partially thawed must not be refrozen. They
should be cooked in advance, after which it can be frozen again.
