Before use upright freezer
Before using the product, you must do the following:
•
Remove all packaging from the product and dispose of it in accordance with applicable regulations.
•
If the side walls and doors are covered with protective film, this must also be removed.
•
Thoroughly examine the product for any transport damage after unpacking. In the event of
complaints, you must contact the retailer where you purchased the product.
•
Clean the inside of the product and accompanying accessories (see section on Cleaning).
Location
Setup
The product must be placed in a dry and well-ventilated room, far away from heat sources such as
radiators, ovens and direct sunlight. If this is not possible, we recommend that you use an insulation
board and keep a minimum distance to the heat source of:
•
Stoves and ovens, 3 cm.
•
Wood-burning stoves, 30 cm.
The product must stand stable and level. The floor under the product must not be able to give way. If
this is the case, the floor must be reinforced.
Ventilation
During operation, the cabinet emits heat to the surroundings. The hot air must be able to circulate,
otherwise the compressor will have to work more, which will result in increased power consumption.
You must never cover the ventilation openings.
See under section "Installation" for more information on space requirements for the product.
Room temperature and climate class
The product is intended to stand in a certain climate class. Set it up in a place where the room
temperature corresponds to the product's climate class, which is indicated on the type plate:
SN (Extended Temperate):
This refrigerator/freezer is intended for use at an ambient temperature between 10°C and 32°C.
N (Tempered):
This refrigerator/freezer is intended for use at an ambient temperature between 16°C and 32°C.
ST (Subtropical):
This refrigerator/freezer is intended for use at an ambient temperature between 16°C and 38°C.
T (Tropical):
This refrigerator/freezer is intended for use at an ambient temperature between 16°C and 43°C.
Note! The product is fully functional within the temperature range from the stated climate class. During
operation in a temperature range other than the specified climate class, the product may not be able to
maintain the desired temperatures or be fully functional.
