1. Play a component connected to this unit.
® For the procedure,
refer to 'How
to play an audio
source" on page 23.
2. Press the THEATER, STADIUM, or SIMULATED key to
enter the Theater, Stadium, or SIMULATED
mode.
3. Adjust
the
REAR
LEVEL
keys to optimize
the
rear
speaker volume.
@ How to play with Surround effect
1. Select the desired Surround mode.
2. Turn the VOLUME
CONTROL
to obtained the desired
volume.
® The VOLUME
CONTROL
adjusts the overall volume
of all speakers simultaneously.
3. Press the DELAY TIME key to select the desired delay
time.
@ In the Dolby Pro Logic mode, the delay time can be
set within the range from
15 to 30 ms in 1.5-ms
steps.
@ In the Theater mode, the delay time can be set within
the range from 0 to 30 ms in 1.5-ms steps.
®@ The delay time is fixed at 30 ms in the Simulated and
Stadium Surround mode.
@ The SOURCE
DIRECT
key is defeated when any of
the surround modes is selected.
@ How to cancel the Surround mode
Press the BYPASS
key.
® Be sure
to set the Bypass
mode
every
time after
completing Surround play.
Note:
The output from the CENTER OUT or CENTER SPEAKERS jacks
on the rear panel is OFF unless in the NORMAL or WIDE mode of
Dolby Pro Logic mode. No signal is output in other modes.
