Title Edit function (Remote Control Unit only)
The input selection or Surround memory name on the TV screen can be replaced with a title.
The title characters can be changed according to the components.

to title-edit the model
name

Press the |ON/OFF}
key.
® The TV screen changes to the condition shown in Fig.
(A).
. Press the key corresponding
to the input source the
model name is to be changed.
e [TUNER], [CD], [TAPE 1], [TAPE 2], [AUX], [PHONO]
VIDEO
1], [VIDEO 2], [VIDEO 3}, [VDP], etc.
e The TV screen changes to the condition shown in Fig.
(B).
. Select the desired letter or numeral
by operating the
[—] or [=~] key.
. Press the
key.
® The selected character is entered and the character
entry position moves to the right. Repeat steps 3 and
4 for this column.
. To move
the character
entry position
to the left or
right, press the [MODE] key.
@ The "Character" displayed on the screen changes to
"Position".
With this condition, the character entry position can
be moved to the left or right every time the [—]or
[=]key is pressed.
. Press the [ON/OFF]
key.
@The
entry operation
is completed
and the title is
changed.
