D.1 Checking Component Firmware
Revision Levels
The current firmware version installed in a component can be checked
through Datalink.
NOTE: When opening component windows in Datalink, it is good
practice not to have more than two components open at a time to
avoid potential communication errors.

Using DATALINK
1. Connect the computer to the i7X00 system as shown in section
C.2.
2. In the 'Interfaces' section in Datalink, click on the
expand the component information. See figure D-2. (In an i7X00
system you will see only the Control Head(s) and Actuators in
the component list.)
3. Firmware revision can be found under the 'Firmware Part
Number' field.
