Select the desired random play mode in the following order:
ab OR FUNC

Random #1
Random 1 ("Random :1" is displayed.) > Random 2 ("Random :2" is dis-
played.) -> OFF ("Random :Off' is displayed.)
To cancel the Function Menu, press the BAND button.
There are two Scan Play modes: Track Scan and Disc Scan.
Scan 1
Use this to find a desired track. All tracks on all the MDs are played for
about 10 seconds each.
Scan 2
Use this to find a desired MD. About 10 seconds of the first track on each
disc is played.
Select the Scan mode (Scan) in the Function Menu.
Select the desired scan play in the following order:
OH FUNC
Hae
ers
Scan 1 ("Scan :1" is displayed.) —-> Scan 2 ("Scan :2" is displayed.) —>
OFF ("Scan :Off" is displayed.)
When you hear the track you are looking for, cancel Scan Play.
If the Function Menu has been canceled automatically, select the Scan
.
mode in the Function Menu again.
