. During stop mode, press PGM.
. Specify the dise No, with the DISC NUMBER button.
. Press m1 to display the playing time of the track.
Each time

is pressed, the playing time of each track is displayed
sequentially.

Playing time of track No. 21 or above cannot be displayed.
@ The DELETE button can be used instead of the PGM button.
To repeat playback (repeat play):

To repeatedly play the displayed track, press REPEAT once. The
[i] - REPEAT indicator lights. The REPEAT button can be pressed
in any playback mode.
To repeatedly play all tracks on all of the discs in norma! playback
mode or in the specified playback mode (Program playback, Delete
program playback or Random playback), press REPEAT twice. The
REPEAT indicator lights.

To exit repeat mode, press REPEAT so that the [i] - REPEAT
or REPEAT indicator goes off.

Press OUTPUT LEVEL "-" or "+" on the remote controi unit to
adjust the output level. The output level can be adjusted between
0 dB and - 25 dB in steps of 1 dB.
e@ The LEVEL meter shows the selected output level in steps of
6 dB.

The output level at the OUTPUT jacks and PHONES jack will
be adjusted simultaneously.
@
if the magazine is in the player, the adjusted output level will
not be erased even if the power is turned off. However, if the
power is turned off with an audio timer or unplugging the
power cord, the adjusted level will be erased.
Sound volume memory

The output level of each disc can be memorized.
@ When the output level of each disc has been set at the same
level, it is not necessary to adjust the sound volume for each
disc with the volume control of the amplifier.
To memorize the output level

. Specify the disc No. with the DISC NUMBER button.
. During playback adjust the output level with OUTPUT LEVEL +
or -.
. Press PGM within. 5 seconds.
The displayed output level is memorized.
Repeat steps 1 through 3 for other discs.
The output level (0 dB - -25 dB) can be memorized for each
disc.

memorized
output
level
of each
disc
will
be
set
automatically when the disc is played.

Even when the output level is memorized, the OUTPUT LEVEL
+ of - button can be operated without erasing the memory.

When
the output
level is re-adjusted
and
memorized,
the
previously memorized output level is erased and the LEVEL
MEMO indicator blinks once.

The output level can be stored in multi-memory. (See page 20.)

To clear the memorized output level:
1, Specify the disc No. to be cleared with the DISC NUMBER
button.
2. During playback, set the output level to 0 dB with the OUTPUT
LEVEL + button.
3. Press PGM.
To clear the output level of afl the discs:
Eject the magazine by pressing EJECT.
