MULTI-MEMORY

To clear the entire multi-memory

ERASE

POWER

we STANDBY/ON

Press POWER to turn the player on and simultaneously press and

hold ERASE for more than about 1 second. "ALL CLr" appears on

the display and the entire Multi-Memory will be erased.

If the multi-memory is filled

Up to 20 magazines can be stored in MultiMemory.

{f the programs are already stored for 20 magazines, a program

will not be stored even if STORE

is pressed. At this time,

"FULL" appears on the display. If you intend to store a new

program, press STORE twice. "FILE" appears on the display

and a new program can be stored. The oldest program is erased

and the new one will be stored.

When the TOC data are already stored for 20 magazines, storing

a TOC data for new magazine erases the data of the oldest

magazine having only TOC data from the Multi-Memory.

When "Err" is displayed:

When playback reaches a disc No. which is replaced or removed

from the magazine stored in Multi-Memory,

"Err" is displayed.

Correct the TOC data, if necessary.

Caution for memory back-up

When

the memory

back-up

batteries

run out, "ALL CLr"

displayed after the power is turned on. The Multi-Memory function

will not work if the batteries run out.

Please ask your nearest PIONEER authorized service center to

replace the batteries.
