NOTE:
When the power is turned off while a magazine is in the player,
the player memorizes which disc was played just before the
power was turned off. Thus, When the power is next turned on,
pressing the play button starts playback from the first track on
the memorized disc.
To stop playback and take out the magazine:
Press the EJECT button (4), remove the magazine, and then
press the POWER switch to turn off the power.
Even when the power is turned off {in standby mode), the
magazine will be ejected by pressing the EJECT button. (Power
Down Eject)
Cautions regarding handling of magazines:

When inserting a magazine into the player, make sure that
the direction of insertion is correct.

After use, store in the case
provided,
Do not place in
locations subject to high temperatures or exposed to direct
sunlight.
e
Do not take magazines apart.
e
Be careful not to drop, or hit magazines against things. Also
do not apply strong force to trays which have been with-
drawn.
e
Application of benzene, thinner, insecticide or other volatile
liquids to a magazine may damage the surface, so keep
magazines away from such substances.
Timer playback:
By using a commercially available audio timer, it is possible to
initiate playback at any time automatically.
1. Insert a magazine into the magazine slot.
2. Set the time at which you wish playback to begin. The timer
will supply power to both the amplifier and the player at the
preset time, turning ail the components on and initiating
the playback mode. Playback starts from the first track on
the first disc.
Caution:
e
Do not unplug the power cord or do not turn off the power
with an audio timer during playback, as this could result in
damage to the disc.

Sf a power failure occurs while the power is turned off
(standby mode), the power is automatically turned on with
timer playback function when
the power
is supplied.
THEREFORE,
DISCONNECT
THE AC POWER
CORD WHEN
THE PLAYER IS NOT USED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME.

During playback, pressing the TIME button changes the time
display in the following sequence: (A) Time (elapsed playback
time of the track being played)
- > Remain
(remaining
playback time of the track being played)

{remaining playback time from the playing point to the end of
the disc) - (©) Total (total playback time of the disc).

With track No. 24 or more, the Remain time © cannot be
displayed.
