Assigning a Function to the Function Key

You can use the Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool to assign
one of the following functions to the Function key on the operation
panel.
• Count Clear
• Count Only
• Manual Feeding
• Batch Separation
By pressing the Function key, you can enable/disable the assigned
function.
IMPORTANT
A USB connection is required to make this setting with the Canon
imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool. When connected via wired LAN,
making this setting with the Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting
Tool is ineffective.
Hint
The scanner's factory default Function key assignment is "Count
clear".

Open the Setting Screen in the Canon imageFORMULA
Driver Setting Tool.

On the [Control] tab sheet, click the [Setting] button for
[Hardware].
The Hardware Settings dialog box appears.
