Error Message

When one of the following messages appears on the display panel, an error has occurred in the scanner. Follow the indicated procedure to resolve
the error.
Message
Scanner cover is open.
A double paper-feed has
occurred.
Imprinter Insert Error
Staple detected
Skewed document
Dust detected
The paper detection sensor is
not clean
Error Code Problem
C001 The scanner's upper unit is open.
C009 The imprinter cover is open.
A double feed was detected by the document
D002

D004 A double feed was detected ultrasonically.
H001 An imprinter voltage error was detected.
H004 No ink cartridge is installed in the imprinter.
J001 A stapled document has been detected.
J018 A skewed document was detected.
J050 Dust was detected on the scanning glass.
Dirt was detected on the paper detection
J051
sensor.
Solution
Close the upper unit.
Close the imprinter cover.
Remove the double fed document page(s),
return them to the Document Feed Tray, and
scan again.
Make sure that the ink cartridge is installed
correctly.
Install an ink cartridge.
Remove the staple(s), and rescan the
document.
Remove and reposition the document page.
Clean the scanning glass.
Clean the paper detection sensor.
