Place the document with the folded edge facing right.
IMPORTANT
Adjust the document guides to fit the width of the document.
Otherwise, the image may scan as skewed or shifted.
Hint
• The scanned image of the front side becomes the left half of the
recombined image.
• When scanning a folded document of a size other than the
standard formats, set [Page Size] on the scanner driver settings
screen to [Match original size].

Scanning with Carrier Sheets

To scan without damaging documents or contaminating the rollers
and feed path with documents such as carbon paper, insert each
document sheet into an optional carrier sheet before loading it in the
scanner.

Open the scanner driver's setting screen.

Open the [Feeding] tab, and set [Document type] to
[Carrier sheet].

Click the [OK] button to close the settings screen.
