DUAL HEART RATE SIMULATION
(US AND ECG)
This procedure is used to simulate dual heart rate signals—
ultrasound and FECG or ultrasound and MECG.
NOTE: This simulation applies only to monitors
equipped with dual-cardiotach functionality.
1. Set the ECG Mode switch to FECG or MECG as desired.
2. Set the US Mode switch to US or US/FMD as desired.
NOTE: Fetal movement detection simulation only works
with monitors equipped with fetal movement detection
features. Refer to the respective operator's manual to
determine if a maternal/fetal monitor is equipped with
fetal movement detection features.
3. Set the remaining switches as described previously under
ECG Simulation and US Simulation.
