GENERAL
The V-9934 is a Remote Microphone for use with the
V-9933A, Noise Sensing Volume Control.

Purpose
The V-9934 provides remote noise sensing for the
V-9933A.

Up to four units may be paralleled on one
V-9933A
Each V-9934 may be on a 1000' wire run
Uses CAT3/5/5e/6 twisted pair telephone cable

Mounting
The V-9934 is designed for wall mounting. When
mounting this unit in a noisy area, make sure that the
front is not obstructed in any way. It should be
mounted in the noisy area 12-15 feet high. Care
should be taken not to mount the V-9934 directly
adjacent to any noise sources such as HVAC
blowers, ceiling fans, conveyors, etc.

When trouble is reported, verify connections to the
V-9933A.
Assistance in troubleshooting is available from the
factory. When calling, you should have a VOM and a
telephone test set available and be calling from the

The V-9934 is not field repairable. Valcom equipment
contains no user serviceable parts inside. Valcom,
Inc. maintains service facilities in Roanoke, VA.
Should repairs be necessary, attach a tag to the unit
clearly stating your company name, address, phone
number, contact person and the nature of the
