Each press switches the tuning method as follows:
* Normally, set to "AUTO" (auto tuning). If the radio waves are weak
and there is a Jot of interference, switch to manual tuning. (With
manuattuning, stereo broadcasts will be received in monaural.)

Presetting radio stations manually
MEMORY
MULTI CONTROL
Tune to the station you want to store.
Press the MEMORY key while receiving the station.
Blinks for 5 seconds
Lights for 5 seconds
Proceed to step E} within 5 seconds.
(if more than 5 seconds elapse, press the MEMORY key again).
Use the MULTI CONTROL to select one of the station
presets (1 - 40).
@] Press the MEMORY key to accept the setting.
*Repeat steps &@, &, & and G to store as many stations as
necessary.
* If you store a station at a previously used preset, the old station will
be replaced by the new one.
