REAR PANEL FACILITIES
Orr
S (connector) video jacks
When used in conjunction with a VCR, Video disc player (LD player)
or TV monitor equipped with S video jacks, connect to these jacks.
(See page 8)
© CENTER AMP jacks
[PRE-OUT]
When
a separate
power amplifier is used to drive the surround
center speaker, connect the power amplifier to this jack.
{POWER IN]
When a separate preamplifier is used for a center speaker and this
unit is used as a power amplifier, connect the preamplifier to this
jack.
@ SUB WOOFER OUT jack
If you want to boost the low frequencies, or want to use the unitina
3D system, connect to a sub woofer power amplifier.
@ REAR AMP jacks

Whena
separate power amplifier is used to drive the rear speakers,
connect the power amplifier to these jacks.
(POWER IN]
Whena
separate preamplifier is used for rear speakers and this unit
is used as a power amplifier, connect the preamplifier to these jacks.
@ CENTER SPEAKER terminals
Connecting the surround center channel speaker system(s).
You can connect two speakers for dual center, so you can locate
speakers on both sides of the TV.
Speaker impedance:
Refer to @ SPEAKER IMPEDANCE SELECTOR switch.
NOTE:
Do not allow any of the cord's conductors to protrude from the
terrninals
or touch
any other conductors.
Malfunctioning
or
breakdowns may occur when conductors come into contact with
each other.
@ FRONT SPEAKERS terminals
A: Connect to the first set of speakers.
B: Connect to a second set of speakers.
Speaker impedance:
Refer to @ SPEAKER IMPEDANCE SELECTOR switch.
NOTE:
Do not allow any of the cord's conductors to protrude from the
terrninals
or touch
any other conductors.
Malfunctioning
or
breakdowns may occur when conductors come into contact with
each other.
@ REAR SPEAKERS terminals
Cornect the rear speakers to these terminals.
Speaker impedance
Connect speaker systems with a nominal impedance of between 8
and 16 Q.

Comnect to the Multi-room speakers.

Connect speaker systems with a nominal impedance of between 8
and 16 Q.

Connect to turntable.

Connect the turntable ground lead to this terminal.

connect the power amplifier to these jacks.

When a separate preamplifier is connected and this unitis used as a
power amplifier, connect the preamplifier to these jacks.

The receiver's remote sensor does not function when a
