® FM/AM button
Use this to switch between FM and AM frequency band reception.
@ TUNING +, — buttons
+: Performs tuning in ascending frequency order.
—: Performs tuning in descending frequency order.

Press ON, and picture noise interference is reduced.
When switched ON, the VIDEO NR indicator in the display section
lights.
NOTE:
When TV broadcast reception conditions are extremely poor, or
when playing back a badly recorded video cassette tape, noise
reduction may not be entirely effective.
@ STATION CALL (Random 30 ch.) buttons
These buttons are used to recall preset broadcast stations.
Using the GU! (Graphic User Interface) function lets you preset
broadcast stations with on-screen display indications. FM MPX
mode (AUTO/MONO) presets can be set at the same time.
NOTE:
Pressing a STATION CALL button when a component other than
TUNER is selected causes the input selector setting te switch to
TUNER.
@ RETURN button
Press this button to return the receiver into the initial state, TUNER is
selected at this initial state. Adjust the sound level by using the
MASTER VOLUME control.

*When a station is not received, station search will aulornmatically
proceed from the frequency displayed.
@ INPUT ATT button
Use this when there is distortion due to an excessivelyhigh input
signal level. When this is switched ON, —10 dB attenuate o perates,
and the INPUT ATT indicator in the display section lighs.
NOTE:
This button does not operate when the DIRECT buttons 77 the on
position.
@ DEMO button
The demonstration is activated by pressing the DEMO bitton while
the power of the unit is ON. The demonstration mmode is
automatically canceled when the demonstration ends Press any
other button to cancel.
