The transceiver operates as a USB 2.0 compliant USB device.
It also supports the following device classes.
CDC: Communication Device Class
ADC: Audio Device Class 1.0
MSC: Mass Storage Class
Note:
¡ The transceiver does not support being connected with a PC via
a USB hub. Use a commercially available cable to connect the
transceiver directly to a USB port of the PC.

CONNECTING WITH A PC

Connecting the transceiver to a PC enables you to use the
memory control program MCP-D75 to configure various
settings and access from the PC to the microSD memory card
in the transceiver.
To connect the transceiver with a PC, you need to install the
virtual COM port driver on the PC.
Download the memory control program MCP-D75 and virtual
COM port driver from the following URL.

Note:
¡ Never connect the transceiver and a PC with a USB cable
until installation of the virtual COM port driver downloaded
from the above URL is completed. If the transceiver and a PC
are connected without installing the virtual COM port driver,
the wrong driver that does not support the transceiver will be
installed and communicating correctly with the PC will become
impossible. To prevent the wrong driver from being installed, be
sure to complete the installation of the virtual COM port driver
before connecting the transceiver with the PC.
