Using Your EXP 901 Memory

Storing a Number
1. Remove the Handset from the Base Unit
2. Press MEMO.
3. Press the numeric key for the memory location where you want to store
the number. The TALK LED lights.
Note: After this beep, you have 20 seconds to enter the number you
want to store. Otherwise, an error tone sounds and the unit
returns to stand-by.
Note: Access the 10 memory locations with the number keys 0
through 9 . For location 10, press 0 .
4. Enter the number (up to 16 digits) you want to store.
To enter a delay between numbers (for accessing a switchboard, or
long distance service) press RDL/P at the point in the number sequence
where you want a pause. (Note: The RDL/P button counts as one digit.)
To increase the length of the pause, press RDL/P more than once.
5. Press MEMO again.
You hear a confirmation beep and the TALK LED goes out.
Example: Store 555-1234 in memory location 4:
Press MEMO
Press 4
Press 5551234
Press MEMO
The Handset beeps confirmation and the TALK LED goes out.
6. Write the stored number and its memory location number on one of the
enclosed stickers.
Storing a One-Touch Dialing Number
1. Remove the Handset from the Base Unit
2. Press MEMO.
3. Press the One-Touch Dialing button (A, B, or C) you wish to program.
You hear a beep and the TALK LED goes out.
Note: After this beep, you have 20 seconds to enter the number you
want to store. Otherwise, an error tone sounds and the unit
returns to stand-by.
4. Enter the number (up to 16 digits) you want to store.
