C. Operation on car battery (DC 12 VY)
Optional exciusive car adapter (JVC model CA-R120E)
First connect the car adapter to the DC IN 12 V jack, not the cigarette
lighter socket, because shorting of a plug on the car may cause the
fuse to blow out. In addition, be careful not to make a short-circuit
between the plugs.
@ When using a car battery, be sure to use the specified car adapter
{JVC mode! CA-R120E) to prevent mishaps or damage resulting
from different polarity design.

Note:
@ When there is a power failure lasting more than 2 minutes or the
AC power cord is disconnected for more than 2 minutes, the timer/
clock setting is erased from memory. Reset the clock when the
power supply is restored.
