m@ Removing the Mode Switch and Active hyper -
Bass P.C. Board (See Fig. 5-7)
1. From the back of the cassette mechanism unit, remove
the three screws @ retaining the active hyper- bass P.C.
board.
2. From the back of the cassette mechanism unit, remove
the three screws
retaining the mode
switch
P.C.
board.
m Removing the CD Traverse Mechanism Unit
Remove the front cabinet assembly.
. Pull out the cassette mechanism
unit and CD traverse
mechanism unit from the body.
Remove the main amp. and LCD & system CPU
P.C.
boards.
4. Remove the four screws
© retaining the CD traverse
mechanism unit (See Fig. 5-8).

. Remove the Front Cabinet Assembly
2. From inside the front cabinet, remove the four screws @
retaining the right and left caps.
3. Remove the eight screws @ retaining the right and left
