Normal and high-speed dubbing from Deck A to Deck B can be performed.
Operate in the order shown
Set to the TAPE mode.
Load a pre-recorded cassette in Deck A.
Load a cassette for recording in Deck B.
Select the desired reverse mode.
Set to NORMAL SPEED or HIGH SPEED.
@ When set to NORMAL SPEED, there is no indication in the display
window.
@ Press the ONE TOUCH REC button. (Synchronized dubbing will start.)
When dubbing a tape...
© The tape counter displays the tape position for deck B.
¢ @ and B) are displayed alternately.
© How to stop dubbing in progress
Press the ll button to stop Deck A and Deck B, releasing the dubbing
mode. Also, when Deck Ais stopped, Deck B stops automatically.
Note:
@ Televisions placed close to this unit may cause interference on the
recorded signal when this unit is used in the high-speed dubbing mode.
Hf this happens, either tum off the television or use the normal-speed
dubbing mode.
Erasing
A recorded tape can be erased by recording new material over the
previous material.
To erase a tape without making a new recording.....
1. Eject the tape from deck A.
2. Press the TAPE <IC-- button to set to the TAPE mode.
3. Insert the cassette with the side to be erased facing up in deck B.
4. Press the ONE TOUCH REC button.
tt should be noted that it may be unlawtul to re-record pre-recorded
tapes, records, or discs without the consent of the owner of copyright
in the sound or video recording, broadcast or cable programme and
in any literary, dramatic, musical, or artistic work embodied therein.

Setting the current time (when this unit is used for the first
time)
(Example: To set the clock to 13:15.)

Within 2 minutes.
@ Set the ®/1 button
to ON.
@ Press the CLOCK button for 2 sec. or more; "--:--"_ will blink in the
display.
@® Set to 13:15 by pressing the 4/4
buttons.
(When the button is kept pressed, the minute/hour indication changes
continuously.)
@ Press the CLOCK button; the time will light in the display.
@ To set
to the nearest second...
Press the CLOCK button when you hear the time signal from a TV or
radio.
® To confirm the current time
Press the CLOCK button. When the button is pressed again, the display
shows the previously engaged mode.
Notes:
® Before performing timer recording or playback, it is necessary to set
the current time.
@ When the power cord is plugged in again after being disconnected for
more than 2 minutes, or power is restored after a power failure lasting
more than 2 minutes, "CLOCK' will blink in the display. Set the current
time again.
( TIMER OPERATIONS
Setting the timer
@ The current time must be set before the timer can be used.
@ Set the 6/I button
to ON.
@ Press the TIMER button.
TIMER.

@ Set the start time.
(Example: To set the timer to 12:15.)
Within 30 sec.
