instructions, warnings, cautions, and notes contained in
this installation instruction guide. Consult your vehicle
owner's manual for proper disconnection of electrical and
lifting of vehicle if required for installation of this product.
This install may require some technical skills and
knowledge of basic mechanical work. If you do not feel that
you are capable of performing this install please take this
product to a trained professional.

Time to install this should only
take about two hours.
Proper installation of this kit required knowledge of the factory
recommended procedures for removal and installation of original
equipment components. We recommend that the factory shop manual
and any special tools needed to service your vehicle be on hand during
the installation. Installation of this kit without proper knowledge of the
factory recommended procedures may affect the performance of these
components and the safety of the vehicle
• Always wear eye protection when operating power tools
Inspect all contents of this package to make sure product is not damaged
and all installation hardware has been included. If parts are missing from

- Page 3 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 2 | Peel back the paper from the heat shield and install it on the mount. The opening in the shield material will go over the mounting holes on the compressor side of the mount. STEP 3 | Install drain caps to both sides of the compressor mount.
- Page 4 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 4 | Use a trim clip tool to remove the plastic covers from the tie- down hooks. The number of tie-downs varies between 4-door models and 2-door models. STEP 5 | Use a 10mm socket to remove the hardware securing the factory tie-downs to the vehicle.

- Page 7 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 9 | Remove the muffler from the exhaust hangers. One is located next to the hitch, and the other is located between the muffler and driverside rear tire. These may require some force to remove. Use WD-40 and a pry tool if necessary. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595...
- Page 8 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 10 | Remove the muffler by pulling it from the exhaust tube towards the rear of the vehicle. STEP 11 | Use a 10mm socket and a trim clip tool to remove the factory hardware and plastic clip retainers securing the factory heat shield in place.
- Page 9 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 12 | Use a 10mm socket to install the mounting plate using the factory hardware and mounting locations. STEP 13 | Place the DV8 storage box under the vehicle and lift it to the mounting plate by reaching down through the empty space in the cab.
- Page 10 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 14 | Secure the provided M8 hardware using a 5mm allen bit. STEP 15 | If you are mounting a compressor, do so at this time using the hardware provided with the compressor. Our compressor mount is designed for single or twin tube ARB air compressors.
- Page 11 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 16 | We provide multiple grommets for different wiring applications. The pre-installed flat grommet is for the ARB style harness, and can be used by cutting a slit open in one direction. Remove the grommet to cut it, then push the harness through and re-install.
