3. Insert a disk
Next, insert a disk. Push it into the slot gently, with the side you want to use facing
a
upward.
When a disk is inserted, the unit is automatically set to File mode and the following
kind of display will appear:

This message shows you how many data files have already been recorded on the
side of the inserted disk you are using (that is to say, how many times you have
already saved data on that side).
However, if the inserted disk has not been initialized yet, the following message
will be displayed, indicating that you must first format the disk.
