Symptoms
There is an odor, but
the color of the overall
air quality does not
change.
The color of the overall
air quality is
continuously red.
The concentration of
fine dust does not
change.
The concentration of
PM10 continues to be
high.
The color of the overall
air quality differs from
the level of
concentration of PM
3
(μg/m
).
The guide from the
Ministry of
Environment is
different from the
displayed overall air
quality.
The level of dust
concentration
displayed on the
product is different
from that on the LG
ThinQ Application.
Does the color of the overall air quality not change to red or orange?
• The color that indicates overall air quality is determined based on the
condition of the worst concentration level between the dust concentration
level and the odor concentration level. Check if the dust concentration is
worse.
• The odor sensor detects gas that causes pollution and may not react to
food odors. However, such odors are eliminated by the deodorization
filter.
Does the color not change even if it is moved to a clean room?
• If the amount of odor is more than the capacity of the product, the display
may not change.
• Remove the power plug from the outlet and reconnect after 1 minute.
Did you use a spray near the product?
• Do not use a spray near the product.
Is the product used in a closed space?
• In a closed space, the displayed air quality level may continue unchanged.
Does the air continue to flow in from the outside to the location where
the product is installed?
• In an environment where air flows in from the outside, the concentration
level may continue to be high.
Does the color of the overall air quality match the color that indicates
odor concentration?
• The overall air quality is determined and displayed by comprehensively
evaluating the concentrations of odor and dust.
• If the odor is strong even though the concentration of dust is low, the color
of the overall air quality may change.
Is the guide from the Ministry of Environment different from the
product's dust concentration?
• The guide from the Ministry of Environment shows the average value over
a certain period of time, but the overall air quality displayed on the product
is measured and displayed in real time, so there may be a difference.
Are you looking at the same type of dust particle?
• Check if the indication of PM1.0 (super ultra-fine dust), PM2.5 (ultrafine
dust) and PM10 (fine dust) matches between the LG ThinQ Application and
the product.
• Due to a difference in update time between the LG ThinQ Application and
the product, the level displayed in real time may differ.
