TIMER
AUTOMATIC TIMER
RECORDING
You may set the TV/VCR to record while you are away.
You can set 8 programs to record on a specific day, daily
or weekly within a 1 year period.
In the example below, the timer is being set to record:
DATE:

NOTES:
• You must use the remote control for this procedure.
• If a cable box or satellite box is connected with the
TV/VCR you will be limited to record only one chan¬
nel. And the channel selector on the TV/VCR must
be selected to the output channel of the boxes 3 or 4
and then the actual channel to be recorded must be
selected on the boxes.
Make sure...
Be sure the clock is set to the correct time and date
before setting the timer.
• Power must be turn on to set automatic timer record¬
ing.
• Insert a cassette tape with its erase prevention tab in
place. (If necessary, rewind or fast forward the tape
to the point at which you want to begin recording.)
• The channel you want to record is properly set in
advance.
Avoid over lap of programs...
There is a case that a program will not be performed.
when programs overlap;
• The program that the start time is set earlier has pri¬
ority.
• When the earliest program has finished and the pro¬
grams which should start still overlap, the recording
will start in order of the program number.
• If you programmed as the illustration, the timer re¬
cording would be carried out as follows (shaded part
is the carried period):

1 Select 'TIMER PROGRAMMING
Press MENU button.
Confirm "TIMER PROGRAM¬
MING" is pointed.
And press F.FWDJ^ button.
• If you did not set the clock,
"MANUAL CLOCK SET¬
TING" appears. If so, follow
page 15 to set the clock and repeat from step [3].

Select your desired program number (1-8)
Press PLAY/A or STOP/T but¬
ton repeatedly to select your de¬
sired program.
And press F.FWD/^ button.

Set the channel number
Press PLAY/A or STOP/T but¬
ton repeatedly until your desired
channel number appears. (Ex¬
ample: CH61)
And press F.FWD/^ button.

Select once, every day or weekly recording
For once recording:
Press PI.AY/A (up) button
repeatedly until your desired
date appears.
(Example:
"5/06" for May 6lh) And press
F.FWD/^ button.
For every day recording
: To record a TV program at
the same lime on the same channel every day.
(
Example:
Monday through Sunday)
Press STOP/T (down) button
repeatedly until "EVERY
DAY" appears.
And press F.FWD/^ button.

same rime on the same channel every week. (Example:
every Monday on channel 7 at 5:00PM)
Press STOP/T (down) button
repeatedly until "EVERY"
and your desired day of the
week appear together.
